The loop starts at Nick Lake Lodge. The UTVs are delivered directly to the door, fully fueled, cleaned, and ready to ride.

Stop 1

Family-owned resort bar on Big Chetac Lake. Famous for the Awesome Burger and BBQ Brisket. Perfect for a mid-ride snack or lunch.

Mama Roppe's

Stop 2

Best pizza on the Tuscobia Trail. The owners, Mark & Jess, built the restaurant themselves. Outdoor seating and a stage for live music in the summer!

Mary's Bluegill

Stop 3

A Birchwood original since the 1940s. Located on Main St, this is Birchwood's go-to bar in town. Perfect for a game of pool and arcade games for the kids.

Spiderlake Trail

Stop 4

The scenic middle stretch of the adventure. Ride through the Northwoods forest and open wetlands. The scenic, nature-forward leg of the loop.

Spider Lake Saloon

Stop 5

Last stop on the loop! Known for their Broasted Chicken. A perfect dinner spot before heading back to the Lodge.

Known for the Awesome Burger, BBQ Brisket, and the Chit Chat Melt. Trail riders pack the place on weekends, and a full menu runs all day with deep-fried bites and pizza after 9pm. A great mid-ride lunch stop.

The scenic middle stretch of the loop. Spiderlake Trail winds through the Spider Lake Unit of the Washburn County Forest, with rolling hardwood ridges and lowland swamps. Riders regularly spot deer, eagles, and the occasional bear. One of the most connected trail systems in the area, linking the Tuscobia State Trail and Wild Rivers State Trail and stretching all the way toward Lake Superior. Open year-round to UTVs and ATVs up to 65 inches, and groomed for snowmobiles in the winter.

The last stop on the loop before heading home. A trailside institution sitting right on the ATV and snowmobile trail with a cozy log interior and fireplace. Best known across the region for their Broasted chicken and Northwoods Best Bloody Marys. Locally sourced beef burgers, house-made pizzas, and a Friday fish fry. The perfect dinner stop before the short ride back to the lodge.
